We say “SI” mean color .
There are a lot of words to indicate shade of color ,Example as below
Red : we say “Daeng” ,
you can say “SI-DAENG” mean Red color .
“Deang” is the one of popuplar nickname of Thai People.Easy to find out the people who is Daeng.Deang can be both of man and woman name.
Green : we say in Thai langauge “KIEW” .
It may be difficult to pronunciation but try it again slow “KI-EW“ .Yes “KIEW“ is green .We will say “SI-KIEW” mean Green Color .There are a plenty green land in Thailand.Because Thailand is a lot of plants to grow both of vegetable ,fruits ,etc.You will fresh when go to see big green land.
Yellow :we say “Leung” .
This is the one of color that difficult to say .”SI-LEUNG“ is the popular color in THAILAND .You can see many people wear a yellow T-shirt , dress .Because we love and respect our KING . This year is the anniversay 80th birthday ,we all celebrate for our king .
Blue :we say “FAH” ,easy to say “SI-FAH“ .
“FAH” we’re not mean only blue ,but it means SKY.Many nickname of woman is FAH,because it looks high and good feeling .But FAH is not popular for nickname of MAN .
Navy :we say “NUM-NGERN” , “SI-NUM-NGERN” is blue color.
Navy is the one of popular uniform of Thai Student,you can see a lot of student uniform is compose of NAVY or “SI-NUM-NGERN” because it looks polite and unity.
White :we say “KAW” , “SI-KAW” is white color .

Black : we say “DUM” ,popular nickname in Thailand .
“SI-DUM” mean black color.New Fashion in Thailand like to use this color.But in the past “SI-DUM“ is not popular to use because THAILAND is hot weather. Black color is absorb heat more than other color.

This is the amazing for a traveler who drive on Kaset-Nawamin Road that lacate near Satriwittaya 2 School (โรงเรียน สตรีวิทยา 2 ). There is a sunflower field ( ทุ่งทานตะวัน ) that grow againt the sunshine . Many people park their vehicles for visit and photo because it’s very beautiful view .A lot of photographer meet this sunflower field and they take a lot photos .Although this field is not too big but it can make a lot of family groups can joint to take many photos with boys , girls , and parents with happy smile . It’s look a happy sunflower field in Bangkok . There is no charge . We don’t know who is the owner ,but we have to appreciate them for crate a happy sunflower filed to many people . We have to say “Thank you very much”. We need not to go far for meet the sunflower .
Normally it will have an annual sunflower Field tour about November – January near Pasak Chonlasit Dam in Saraburi and Lopburi that far from Bangkok about 160 Kilometres . It’s popular tour program to touch the natural sunflower field .Because there are a lot of area which plant sunflower ,you will see a wide yellow sunflower land around the you so far that you can see .You can absorb a natural of flower and mountain .
