The classic sticky rice roasted in a bamboo joint and Thai people call “ Khao Larm ” Khao larm made from glutinous rice that stream within Bamboo joint.

Have you ever taste Khoa Larm ?

It’s very delicious ,a taste is soft , sweet ,good smell from natural membrane of bamboo. Khoa larm is the one of the popular souvenir of Thai traveler for give their friends , and family . Many Provinces in Thailand is a specialist for sticky rice bamboo streamer as Nong Mon – Chonburi , Prapathom chedi – Nakornpatom,Chachengsao,Nakornnayok,etc.

How do they cook sticky rice bamboo ?

This is an original process to cook Khaolarm .The First step : To prepare a fresh & clean bamboo joint , soak glutinous about 6 hrs , fresh coconut milk , dry coconut husk that wrap by banana leaf for a cap to close end of bamboo ,some salt & sugar ,not forget a oven to roast bamboos.
After prepare all in above then go to The second step : To mix coconut milk with some salt and sugar for good mellow tasted flavored  and put soak sticky rice in bamboo .To pour a mix flavor coconut milk by high over soak sticky rice a little bit and close by a nature cap ( coconut husk warp by banana leaf )
The third step : To put all bamboo that contain from second step on the oven then roast about 1-2 hr . Now we can get a delicious Khao Larm.

To look easy but more tricks to cook Khao Larm for good taste .

J that mean food without meat , milk , egg and food that come from animal .Some People call this festival is Eat Vegetable Festivals .Thai Chinese believe this is a special period  in every year .They start from date 1-9 of nineth month of Chinese calendar . They will make a merit , give alms  by no kill animals , give life of animals ,to do a good activities .So within 9 days they will not eat food from animals .Main menu come from vegetable ,fruit ,bean,mushroom ,etc.

There are a may delicious menu that you may be not think ,this is a J food .Because they produce a food look like a normal food but use a vegetable , bean , mushroom and immitation food that create the same normal food .

Yellow Flag is a symbol of J food .You will know this is a J food when you see a yellow Flag.

Thanon Khao San  ( ถนนข้าวสาร ) or KhaoSan Road where the popular of backpacker who visit BANGKOK  like to stay HERE .Not only backpacker but many Thai people like to go to Khaosan Road . Why ?

            
Because it’s easy to go to visit Thanon Khao sarn by Taxi , Tuk Tuk , and Bus . Khaosarn Road locate near Banglumpoo ( บางลำพู ) ,Wat ChanaSongkram ( วัดชนะสงคราม ) , SanumLuang ( สนามหลวง ) . There are many residents – hotels , guest houses , apartments  that is inexpensive and up to backpacker to select to stay .There are many restuarants  and pubs to serve the visitors by Thai style ,Europian Style ,Italian style , Indian Style , etc with friendly service . A lot of shopping plaza  and small shops along both side of  KHAO SAN Road  .There are many activities that interesting for the visitor to joint Here  example shopping , tour ,tattoo , foot massage ,aromatheraphy ,spa , hairdresser ( it is ver popular activity ) ,etc.

Thanon Khaosan is a famous place and a center of backpacker who visit Bangkok .Normally the accomodation can be service the visitor about 8000 people per day .If the high season of travel from January to April especially Song Kran Festival ,there are a lot of visitor Here rise to 10,000 people per day .So Thanon Khao San is  very popular for  the visitors . Khaosarn Road offer a various service business to tourists include travel agency , wholesale silver  , visa applications  for indochina country .

At the begin of Thanon Khao san  where the Chanasongkarm Police station locate on Chakapong road ,so Khaosan Road is the one of safe road for backpacker .

We recommend the first group of  accomodations that lacate on Khao san road , rambutrri road, Chakapong road because the tourists can walk to Tha non khoa san not over 5 minutes and it’s easy to click link to visit them
