Let’s visit Ubonratchathani in eastern of Thailand. This month is a high season for traveller who like to joint a famous festival as “Candle Festival 2009 “,not only a nice & attractive decorate candle by handmade but it is a faith of buddhist who attent to celebrate the begining of Buddhist lent .

Buddhist in Thailand will go to temple for feed food to monks and pray for a good thing will come to their life .This festival will start from  first day of the waning moon of the eighth lunar month to the eleven lunar, around 3 months that in rain season .Because in the buddhist history ,there was a lot of crop grow in rainy season and monks ,who travel in this period  ,will step on a growth crop.So lord buddha announce to monks to stay in the same place or temple in rainy season for learn Dhamma along the rainy season.And buddhist who have a faith to support monks to learn dhamma in night by give candles for light in dark night. So buddhist start celebrate candle for this festival .

A happy news happen in Thailand again that there is a new member in Chiangmai Zoo , a baby panda was born here ,many people is waiting for a birth baby panda from Lin Hui , a female panda ,loan from China has given birth to a 200-gram (7-ounce) baby panda in Thailand on Wednesday ( 27/5/2009 ) after being artificially inseminated with her partner’s sperm for a second time in February .

This is a first ( female ) baby panda was born in Thialand. Many people has a plan to visit Chianhmai Zoo to see a cute baby panda , and the one of popular activity to welcome a new member in Zoo is competition to name a baby .

Although Thai people love these panda in Chiangmai but Thailand ‘borrowed’ female panda Lin Hui and her male companion Chuang Chuang from China six years ago as ambassadors of friendship between the two countries d Thailand have to send them back in next four years and a baby must deliver to China in next two years by the agreement with China.

Hua Hin Music Jazz festival 2009 will held from 12 – 14 June 2009 in honor of the Musical Talents of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and to celebrate the occasion of HUA HIN 100th Anniversary with the HUA HIN GREEN JAZZ concept.

Highlight of this year’s HUA HIN Jazz Festival is the performance of Thai, Asian and world famous International Jazz musicians during the 3 days in different locations where : Beach Stage (stage 1) on the beach and the Jazz Royale Stage ( Stage 2 ) locate at Phonkingphet Public Park.
