Why Luang Por Poo have to wear the glasses ? Because in the history as a long time ,there are conjunctivitis outbreak at Mahachai area, and the villager didn’t know how to heal or treat this case.So they pray that if they can treat the conjunctivitis or this outbreak disappear ,they will be gild Laung Por Poo at the eyes with a high respect. After that their pray was come true. It is a miracle ,all villages back to strong again ,nobody infect conjunctivitis. So all villagers gild with a small piece of golden sheet at the eyes of Buddha image with a respect .Many people need to gilded at the Luang Por Poo’s eyes,so this is a clever trick of big dean of Wat Krok Krak .By giving the glasses to Luang Por Poo for protect gilded at only the eyes. And this is a reason that the Buddha image wears the glasses .
